• Apart from the general evolution and many modifications in the beginning, the only diffrences between the 7A and 7B were the engines and the cars’ designations…

• The first commercialised 7B was produced 15th of May 1934… and the last 7A as late as August…

• Just about one week after the production of the 7S began, the model was renamed 11AL. From that point 7S- and 11AL-numbers were randomly assigned to the cars – and the only difference between a 7S and an 11AL is the serial number plate…

• The carrosserie numbers of the 7A/B and 7C are not in the same series as the 7S/11AL. So there were obviously two types of body shells, even if the had the same size. With the introduction of the 11BL in 1937 the carrosserie numbers are shared with the 7C…

• The very first production series of 11 Normales goes from August to October 1934. All Berlines except one car: A Familiale – which is identified as a 22CV V8 by its factory number. Surely the dark (black) car exhibited at the 1934 Salon in Paris. Later it was fitted with a 4-cylinder engine and sold in March 1935…

• The first post-war 11 Légere was finished 22nd of June 1945…

• The 11D engine appeared the 2nd of February 1957 and two weeks later all cars had the new engine…

• The first 15six H appeared in April 1954 but the last ten 15six with ordinary suspension were finished in January 1955.

• Exact production figures of the Traction Avants will never be known…
